This deal promotes Lifepoint’s goals to increase its behavioral health capabilities and access points, as well as to develop its innovative behavioral health platform, in order to address the current and future requirements of the people and communities it serves.
Cornerstone Behavioral Health Services In Tucson, Arizona, El Dorado is a 54-bed behavioral health hospital. It has over 100 committed professionals that specialize in treating adult behavioral health patients. Lifepoint is to invest in the expansion of Cornerstone Behavioral Health El Dorado, with plans to add approximately 50 new beds to the facility in the coming months to help meet the region’s expanding need.
The operations of Cornerstone Behavioral Health El Dorado will be absorbed into Lifepoint’s expanding Lifepoint Behavioral Health business, which currently supports more than 30 behavioral health units within partner hospitals and sites of care across the country, as well as three inpatient behavioral health hospitals.
