Equiem, an Australian property technology company, has acquired Dublin-founded workplace management software firm SpaceOS.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
With the merger, Equiem will expand its presence to over 25 countries and expects to increase revenues by 20% with the integration of SpaceOS technology into its EquiemOne platform.
EquiemOne is used by commercial real estate owners for consolidating information and visualizing operations in the digitalized office market.
The acquisition marks Equiem’s second major acquisition in the past two years, and the company aims to strengthen its market position globally through further bolt-on acquisitions. Hitachi Ventures, Momeni, and Caleus are among the investors in the deal.
SpaceOS founders Marley Fabisiewicz and Maciej Markowski will join Equiem’s executive leadership team, and Tobias Jahn of Hitachi Ventures will join the Equiem board. The merged company will serve 850 buildings, more than 15,000 companies, and 300,000 users.
