Elastic Path, a Boston, MA-based startup focused on composable commerce movement, has acquired Unstack, a frontend-as-a-service firm also based in Boston.

The value of the transaction was not disclosed.

Elastic Path’s acquisition will provide merchandisers with a performant no-code frontend as well as the ability to develop a revenue-driving composable solution.

Unstack is a website and storefront building platform that allows ecommerce brands to create and manage integrated, personalized, high-performance ecommerce experiences in a matter of minutes.

The platform is a no-code visual editor, integration manager, and Frontend-as-a-Service (FaaS) that assists business teams and developers in reducing the time required to execute content, commerce, and marketing goals while increasing team agility, insight, and ROI.

Elastic Path, led by CEO Jamus Driscoll, offers headless commerce solutions that enable digitally-driven organizations to swiftly design, implement, and constantly optimize highly distinctive commerce experiences. Intuit, Pella, Deckers Brands, T-Mobile, and over 250 more notable brands are served by the company.
