Procensis Acquires Barcoding

Barcoding, Inc., a Baltimore-based pioneer in supply chain efficiency, accuracy, and connectivity, has acquired Procensis, Inc., a Warminster, Pennsylvania-based mobility solutions company.

The value of the transaction was not disclosed.

With this acquisition, Barcoding will be able to expand its enterprise mobility offerings. Procensis’ expertise in wearable and mobile computing, screen modernization, user interface design, and integration with major Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) will now be available to its customers.

Procensis, led by President Ed Kennedy, focuses on successful user workflows in distribution and manufacturing, providing mobile workers with greater speed and accuracy, as well as speedier onboarding and increased safety.

Barcoding, founded in 1998 and led by president Shane Snyder, is a supply chain automation and innovation company that assists organizations in becoming more efficient, accurate, and connected through an enterprise platform, IntelliTrack®, and extensive subject matter expertise in data capture and automation, labels and printing, mobile computing, and managed services.

Barcoding is based in Baltimore, Maryland, and has offices in Chicago, Houston, Seattle, Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver.
