Ragie, a San Francisco-based platform that empowers developers to build AI applications integrated with their own data, has raised $5.5M in a funding round led by Craft Ventures, Saga VC, Chapter One, and Valor.
The company plans to use the funds to expand its operations and further develop its platform. Co-founded by Bob Remeika and Mohammed Rafiq, Ragie offers a fully managed Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) as-a-Service platform tailored for developers. Initially created as a solution for David Sacks’s chat application, Glue, Ragie provides a robust data ingestion pipeline and retrieval API. The platform leverages advanced RAG techniques for chunking, searching, and re-ranking data, enabling developers to seamlessly connect and sync their applications with data sources like Google Drive, Notion, and Confluence.
With this new funding, Ragie aims to continue improving its platform, making it easier for developers to integrate AI capabilities into their applications.
