Omega Systems, a managed service provider and managed security service provider based in Berks County, has purchased TNS Group.
TNS Group is a Stamford, Connecticut-based IT services firm.
Omega’s third strategic acquisition in the last year is TNS. According to a news statement announcing the agreement, the latest acquisition is expected to increase Omega’s influence in the Northeast region and in key target industries such as financial technology, health care, and nonprofit.
TNS is a valuable extension of Omega Systems’ growing footprint in the region, according to Omega Systems Founder and CEO Bill Kiritsis.
Omega has approximately 700 midmarket and enterprise customers in financial services, manufacturing, health care, nonprofit, and state/local government across the United States. The company’s customer-first solutions are designed to satisfy the expanding regulatory, compliance and data processing needs of highly regulated and security-conscious enterprises, according to information on the company’s website.
Omega bought ACE IT Solutions and PICS ITech in 2022. The company today employs over 185 people and offers a diverse managed services portfolio that includes managed cybersecurity, managed IT compliance, backup and disaster recovery, cloud hosting services, NOC and SOC services, and strategic IT consulting. Omega has offices in Elmwood Park and Mount Holly, New Jersey, New York City, and Columbus, Ohio, in addition to its corporate headquarters and data center in Spring Township.
