InTandem Capital Partners, LLC , a private equity firm focused on healthcare services, announced today that it has closed a strategic equity investment in HouseWorks , one of the nation’s biggest independent home care firms. The transaction’s financial specifics were not disclosed.
HouseWorks, situated in Woburn, Massachusetts, was founded in 1999 with the goal of assisting elders in living independently. The Company’s distinctive BetterCare at Home® strategy guides the work of its caregivers by leveraging tailored care services and modern technology to help seniors stay secure, comfortable, and active in their lives. The company presently operates eight sites in Massachusetts, Southern New Hampshire, Maine, and the Greater Philadelphia area.
HouseWorks expands on InTandem Capital’s current portfolio of home care services companies, as well as the Firm’s sole concentration on the healthcare services industry.
InTandem Capital’s legal counsel was Goodwin Procter, and the Firm’s only finance advisor was Edgemont Partners. HouseWorks’ legal counsel was Mintz, while the Company’s exclusive financial advisor was SVB Securities.
