Qwick Raises $40M in Series B Funding

by

Qwick, a Phoenix, Arizona-based on-demand staffing platform for hospitality firms and professionals, has raised $40 million in Series B funding.

Tritium Partners led the investment, with participation from Album VC, Kickstart, Desert Angels, and Revolution’s Rise of the Rest Seed Fund.

The funds will be used to accelerate growth by expanding its reach to hospitality businesses and professionals in existing markets while rapidly expanding its availability in new cities. The company will also continue to hire at its Phoenix headquarters and in market-specific locations across the country to support new and existing business partners and professionals.

Qwick is a staffing-as-a-service platform led by CEO Jamie Baxter that connects service industry workers directly with food and beverage shifts in real-time, gives them the flexibility to work on their own schedules, and allows them to get paid in as soon as 30 minutes after their shift.
