Ci Design Acquires Compounding Workflow, Expands into South Carolina

Ci Design, a laboratory planning and design firm, has completed the acquisition of Compounding Workflow and simultaneously established a new office in Greenville, South Carolina. The acquisition is set to enhance Ci Design’s capabilities in laboratory design, particularly in the compounding pharmacy consulting sector.

Under the ownership of Bryan Prince, MBA, Compounding Workflow specializes in laboratory design with a focus on compounding pharmacy consulting. Bryan Prince, now an Associate, Senior Lab Planner, and Compounding Specialist at Ci Design, brings his extensive experience in designing compounding pharmacies to the firm.

Prince’s approach is to understand a client’s business model, growth opportunities, and equipment requirements to develop a design concept that aligns with their specific needs. His work has involved designing and consulting for over 200 compounding pharmacies across the United States, and he has been a speaker at compounding pharmacy conferences, webinars, and education workshops, covering topics like lab design, engineering controls, and safety.

The acquisition of Compounding Workflow reinforces Ci Design’s commitment to addressing the unique and tailored needs of clients in the Science & Technology sector. The firm prioritizes safety and workflow optimization in lab and manufacturing planning services.

Bryan Prince’s role at Ci Design will involve consulting within the Compounding Pharmacy industry, helping pharmacies design and budget for compliance with the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) standards. His expertise will complement Ci Design’s lab planning capabilities across the company’s Science & Technology projects.
