Treasury4, an enterprise software platform catering to treasury and finance practitioners, has announced the successful closure of a $20 million Series A funding round. The investment was led by WestCap and featured participation from Cowles Company, Fortson VC, Voyager Capital, Kick-Start Seed Fund, W.T.B. Financial Corporation, Jim DuBois (former CIO of Microsoft), and Chris Growney (co-founder of Clearwater Analytics).

In today’s financial landscape, real-time and accurate visibility into treasury data for financial planning and risk management is crucial. Treasury4 addresses this need by providing modern tools to CFOs and treasurers. The platform offers a comprehensive suite of modular, API-enabled software solutions that facilitate real-time insight into corporate finance and treasury operations.

These tools are designed to support the evolving role of the CFO, moving from a transactional focus to a more strategic role centered on safeguarding and optimizing global enterprise liquidity.

The Treasury4 platform is built on legal entity data, providing an aggregated view and insightful analytics by consolidating fragmented financial information from various internal systems. This approach helps CFOs and treasurers make informed decisions and improve collaboration.

Steve Helmbrecht, CEO and President of Treasury4, commented on the transformation CFOs and treasurers are experiencing, noting that access to more data, enhanced visualizations, faster processing capabilities, and greater foresight are empowering these leaders to guide their organizations more effectively.

Treasury4’s leadership team comprises industry experts who have firsthand experience in finance and treasury roles at global, publicly-traded companies. They understand the challenges faced by finance and treasury professionals and have developed Treasury4 to address these challenges.

WestCap, an equity firm founded by Laurence A. Tosi, former CFO at Airbnb and Blackstone, led the funding round. Jeff Mullen, a partner at WestCap and the first Treasurer at Airbnb, will join the Treasury4 board, leveraging his experience in building treasury and cash management practices. Sean Duncan, Principal at WestCap, will also join the board, bringing his expertise in financial services sector strategy and operations.

Jeff Mullen, Partner at WestCap, emphasized that Treasury4 is pioneering innovation in an industry that has struggled to evolve. The platform leverages deep technical knowledge to transform finance functions, ultimately empowering CFOs and treasurers to make more effective decisions.

This funding will enable Treasury4 to continue its mission of modernizing treasury and finance management, providing valuable solutions to practitioners in these fields.
