They’ve acquired Fiscalsoft, a leading provider of accounting and payroll software solutions for local governments, based in Kentucky.

The acquisition aims to expand Black Mountain Software’s portfolio of local government ERP solutions and mark its entry into the Kentucky market, leveraging Fiscalsoft’s established presence in the region.

Led by Ryan Smith, President of Fiscalsoft, the company specializes in offering comprehensive and user-friendly software solutions designed specifically to meet the needs of local government entities. With a strong client base and a suite of applications, Fiscalsoft brings valuable expertise and solutions to the table, enhancing Black Mountain Software’s offerings.

Black Mountain Software, a portfolio company of Peterson Partners, stands out as a provider of government accounting software serving small to medium-sized local governments across the United States. With over 50 team members, the company delivers 30 integrated applications purpose-built for municipalities, counties, special districts, and schools.
