TeamOhana Raises $4 Million in Seed Funding to Drive Headcount Management Innovation

Changing manual headcount planning processes into automated workflows that record real-time headcount and salary changes across systems

TeamOhana, the first strategic headcount management software, secured a $4 million seed investment led by Sierra Ventures, with participation from Katalyst Ventures. A number of angel investors and strategic operators also participated in this round.

This round of money will be used to expand TeamOhana’s product and go-to-market staff. A succession of executive-level hiring are being made to fuel expansion, including a Head of Marketing and a Head of Sales.

TeamOhana is a global strategic headcount management software designed for high-growth, fast-changing enterprises. The platform becomes the single source of truth for a company’s people planning by syncing previously segmented systems, empowering all teams to cooperate and execute strategic hiring strategies on time and within budget.

Finance and human resource leaders gain real-time visibility into existing recruiting plans and headcount estimates, allowing them to make crucial business decisions that impact product roadmaps, sales targets, and, ultimately, revenue projections.

Along with this round of funding, TeamOhana is releasing its real-time headcount statistics feature. The tool combines previously segregated data from multiple systems into a single, customisable dashboard that displays current and expected headcount. People managers may now gain real-time insights into their headcount budgets, allowing them to execute more effective strategic organizational planning.

TeamOhana’s workforce is remote-first, with a talented global team working across the United States, Europe, Asia, and Africa.
