Raptor Technologies , the market leader in school safety software, announced today the acquisition of SchoolPass, Inc. (SchoolPass), a rapidly growing supplier of cloud-based attendance, dismissal, visitor management, and emergency management software for K-12 schools.

The transaction’s financial specifics were not disclosed. Thoma Bravo and JMI Equity are investors in Raptor.SchoolPass is a market leader in automating K-12 campus operations and safety systems for schools in the United States.

Its portfolio of advanced visitor, attendance, and dismissal technology ensures the safe, real-time mobility of students, faculty, staff, visitors, and volunteers across campus.

SchoolPass has transformed the carline and school dismissal processes for K-12 schools by combining license plate recognition and RFID technologies with workflow automation software.

The combination of these SchoolPass solutions and Raptor’s integrated array of school safety software products expands Raptor’s capacity to assist K-12 schools in managing the complete range of school safety requirements. The purchase is a crucial step toward Raptor’s aim of providing safe and secure learning environments for students and faculty.
