Oofos Raised $7.7M Venture Funding

by

Oofos, a footwear brand known for its recovery footwear for both men and women, has announced a funding of $7.7 million in a venture round with an undisclosed series.

The company is based in Braintree, Massachusetts and was founded in 2011 by Juan Diaz, Lou Panaccione, Paul Brown Brown, and Steve Liggett. The company uses proprietary OOfoamTM technology, which absorbs 37% more impact than traditional foam footwear materials, providing a perfect balance of cushion and stability.

The company’s recovery footwear helps the deep intrinsic muscles of the feet “wake up” and do their job of supporting the “whole” body to perform and feel its best.

With this new funding, Oofos aims to expand its product line and continue its growth trajectory in the consumer goods and fashion industry.
