Mosyle Expands Capabilities with Acquisition of Assetbots

Mosyle, a prominent player in Apple Device Management and Security, has announced the acquisition of Assetbots, an emerging asset management software provider. This strategic move will allow Mosyle to enhance its service offerings, particularly for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and educational institutions, by incorporating comprehensive asset management solutions.

Assetbots, known for its intuitive and cost-effective software, has rapidly become a valuable tool for managing a wide range of assets, from IT equipment to vehicles, throughout their lifecycle. The software’s strong automation features and specialized templates have streamlined operations for many businesses.

Alcyr Araujo, CEO of Mosyle, expressed enthusiasm for the acquisition, noting the shared values between the two companies. “When I first checked Assetbots, I could immediately identify the same principles that allowed Mosyle to scale to more than 52,000 customers and 7 million devices under management in less than 8 years,” said Araujo. He highlighted the alignment in commitment to creating high-quality, easy-to-use, and affordable software.

Assetbots will continue to operate independently under the leadership of its founder, Chad Burggraf, while leveraging Mosyle’s resources. The acquisition will offer several key benefits to customers:

  • Enhanced Integration: A special two-way integration will enable seamless syncing of devices, users, and assignments, reducing configuration and maintenance time.
  • Exclusive Commercial Benefits: Mosyle customers will enjoy exclusive pricing when subscribing to Assetbots, making it more affordable for existing clients.
  • Improved Security, Compliance, and Scalability: As a Mosyle subsidiary, Assetbots will now have access to advanced security protocols, compliance frameworks, and scalable infrastructure, enhancing its innovative edge.

Chad Burggraf, founder and CEO of Assetbots, praised the partnership, citing the alignment of vision and the potential to scale Assetbots’ impact in asset management for schools and SMBs.

This acquisition marks a significant milestone for Mosyle, reinforcing its position as a leader in technology management and security while expanding its portfolio to meet the evolving needs of its customers.
