M.O.B.A Network, the leading gaming community network, has announced the acquisition of Wargraphs, a company known for its popular modding platform, Overwolf, and the in-game application Porofessor. Wargraphs provides players with essential statistics and data for popular games such as League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics, and Legends of Runeterra.

Porofessor, with over ten million app downloads and 800,000 daily active users, offers detailed statistics, build recommendations, post-match analysis, replays, and other features to enhance gameplay for League of Legends players. The acquisition of Wargraphs aligns with M.O.B.A Network’s mission to provide platforms and tools for creators to share content and gaming strategies globally.

Björn Mannerqvist, CEO of M.O.B.A. Network, expressed excitement about adding one of the leading gaming services providers to their portfolio. The acquisition will enable the expansion of services into new regions and reach a broader audience of gamers worldwide.

M.O.B.A. Network focuses on acquiring, developing, and operating high-quality gaming communities for the global gaming market. The acquisition of Wargraphs allows M.O.B.A. Network to diversify its community by adding new games to its repertoire.

Jean-Nicolas, the founder of Wargraphs, highlighted his journey in building Porofessor as a community-driven initiative to help players understand match statistics and champion performance. With the support of M.O.B.A. Network, he aims to bring even more value to gamers and reach a larger player base.

Uri Marchand, CEO of Overwolf, emphasized the significance of the acquisition, stating that passionate in-game creators have the potential to build successful businesses that cater to millions of gamers worldwide. The acquisition reinforces the commitment to in-game creators and solidifies user-generated content (UGC) as the future of gaming.

The acquisition deal includes an initial payment of 25 million euros, with the possibility of additional consideration up to a maximum of 25 million euros based on profitability targets (EBITDA) for 12 and 24 months post-acquisition.

With this acquisition, M.O.B.A. Network further strengthens its position as a leading gaming community network, owning a vast network of web-based global brands and the Union For Gamers (UFG) YouTube network, which comprises over 1,000 content creators.
