Flueid, a pioneering technology company revolutionizing the real estate life cycle through data-driven Verification of Title (VOT), has announced the successful conclusion of a Series B1 funding round, raising an additional $12.5 million. This funding supplements the $20 million previously raised in October 2022, consisting of a $10 million Series B1 raise and $2.5 million in debt financing from Eastward Capital Partners.

The Series B1 round was spearheaded by Aquiline Technology Growth (ATG) and saw participation from Commerce Ventures, both of which have been integral to Flueid’s previous funding rounds.

Central to Flueid’s ethos is harnessing available data to elevate transparency and cohesion throughout the real estate life cycle, with a specific emphasis on seamlessly integrating title data and intelligence across all aspects of the ecosystem. This novel approach gives rise to a groundbreaking verification category, VOT (Verification of Title), within the industry.

Flueid, established in 2020, has diligently expanded its proprietary Flueid Decision platform by infusing it with a range of products and solutions designed to power VOT across the entire real estate life cycle. This evolution encompasses decision-making capabilities such as loss mitigation, loan modification, refinance, home equity, and purchase. Furthermore, the introduction of VOT products caters to the workflows of diverse industry stakeholders including real estate professionals, mortgage lenders, title agents, and more.

Crucially, Flueid’s platform integration with notable point of sale (POS) and loan origination systems (LOS) has empowered mortgage lenders and credit unions to seamlessly conduct title verifications at the onset of loan origination, facilitating accelerated timelines for loan closure.

The freshly secured Series B1 funding will propel Flueid’s continued advancement by fostering additional integrations, refining the purchase solution, and introducing offerings tailored for default and capital markets. These strategic measures serve to comprehensively enhance Flueid’s suite of VOT solutions.
