CyberRisk Alliance (CRA), a business intelligence company serving the cybersecurity community, has completed the acquisition of LaunchTech Communications, a leading public relations and communications agency catering to fast-paced, global cybersecurity and technology companies.

LaunchTech Communications, founded by Wayne Schepens in 2015, specializes in providing services that accelerate growth for early-stage technology companies. They develop comprehensive communication strategies to enhance awareness and credibility among both technical and non-technical audiences. Wayne Schepens will continue in his role as Managing Director of LaunchTech, overseeing business strategy, operations, and his team, while bringing his extensive cybersecurity experience to CyberRisk Alliance.

The acquisition of LaunchTech Communications enables CyberRisk Alliance to expand its go-to-market activation services. CRA’s clients will now have access to LaunchTech’s PR and communications expertise, which complements CRA’s existing offerings. The integration of LaunchTech into CRA’s operations allows for seamless integration of strategic services, backed by CRA’s robust data and technology platform that connects sellers with highly qualified and engaged buyers.

CyberRisk Alliance’s portfolio of marquee media and information brands, including SC Media, Security Weekly, MSSP Alert, ChannelE2E, and the CRA Business Intelligence Unit, will provide immediate benefits to LaunchTech and its client base. LaunchTech’s services will also be introduced to CRA’s clients, enhancing the range of services available and further strengthening CRA’s position in the market.

Doug Manoni, Founder and CEO of CyberRisk Alliance, expressed excitement about the acquisition, emphasizing the enhanced value it brings to clients. Wayne Schepens of LaunchTech also expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting the opportunity to combine LaunchTech’s core programs with CRA’s resources to support technology companies at all stages of growth.

The addition of LaunchTech to CyberRisk Alliance’s portfolio will offer clients new avenues to increase brand awareness, reach new audiences, strengthen relationships with industry reporters and analysts, and boost overall company valuation.
