CrowdOut Capital Acquires Sourceability

CrowdOut Capital LLC, an Austin-based investment firm, announced today that CO Long Term Equity Fund I LP and affiliates collaborated with senior management to acquire Sourceability, a global distributor of electronic components offering digital tools, services, and data, from Zollner Elektronik AG.

Sourceability was selected “Outstanding Supply Chain Service Provider” in the 2022 ASPENCORE Global Electronic Component Distributor Awards for its outstanding performance and beneficial contributions to the electronics sector. The honor closed off a year in which the company was selected to the Inc. 5000 fastest growing list and was named the “Top Supply Chain Services Company” by Logistics Tech Outlook. Sourceability has created its own own e-commerce platform, SourcengineTM, which gives professional buyers and engineers access to a wide range of products.

CrowdOut was represented by Norton Rose Fulbright LP, BDO USA, LLC and their global affiliates. Whitman Breed Abbott & Morgan and KPMG served as legal and tax advisors to Zollner.

CrowdOut’s long-term private equity fund assisted the management team in acquiring Sourceability through a management-led buyout. The deal will provide the Company with extra growth capital while also strengthening its balance sheet. COLT is a long-term fund anchored by family office limited partners that offers firms and management teams with patient capital to make the appropriate business decisions without the limits of typical private equity.
