Career Prep Platform Fearless+ Raises $1M in Pre-Seed Round

by

Fearless+ announced today that they have raised $1 million in pre-seed funding. Fearless+ reinvents career development for Generation Z and Alpha by providing college and career opportunities, elite mentors, and workshops to learn real-world skills outside of the classroom. Fearless+’s proprietary algorithm identifies and showcases the soft skills of students who have not yet entered the workforce, giving employers and recruiters the ability to authentically engage with a new generation of talent.

Fearless+ co-founder and CEO Deepali Vyas reviewed over 100,000 resumes and interviewed over 40,000 executives during her 22-year career as an executive recruiter with Korn Ferry and Heidrick & Struggles. However, the traditional resume is no longer effective.

Mike Grushin, CTO and co-founder of Fearless+, added, “Soft skills are important for personal and professional success, but they are rarely taught in high schools. This is why Fearless+ is required.”

Wray Thorn led the investment round, which also included funding from ex-Two Sigma Ventures (currently Clear Heights Capital). The Dimond Family Office, Linda Mintz, Sheila Baird, Mohit Daswani, Tom Grossman, Sandy Hausner, and Vlad Brodsky are among the angel investors.

Pre-seed funding will be used to increase brand awareness and develop new platform features. The team is currently in their seed round and is looking to connect with potential investors and partners.
