BreachRx Raises M Series A Funding

BreachRx, the creator of the first intelligent, enterprise-wide incident response platform, has raised an oversubscribed $15 million Series A round. The funding was led by Ballistic Ventures, with additional participation from SYN Ventures, Overline, and Silver Buckshot Ventures. This brings the company’s total funding to over $23 million.

In conjunction with the funding, BreachRx announced the appointment of Kevin Mandia, General Partner at Ballistic Ventures and former CEO of Mandiant, to its Board of Directors. Also joining as a Board Observer is Nicole Perlroth, best-selling author and former lead cybersecurity reporter for The New York Times.

BreachRx’s platform serves as a centralized, secure workspace for enterprise-wide coordination of cybersecurity incident response. Designed to support real-time, cross-functional collaboration, it assigns clear roles, responsibilities, and timelines to all relevant teams. Its intelligent automation generates customized response playbooks for various incidents and delivers detailed reports to Boards, auditors, and regulators—cutting costs and boosting efficiency.

Kevin Mandia emphasized the importance of preparedness, stating, “Forward-thinking CISOs recognize that cyber incidents require structured command and control. BreachRx equips organizations to plan for and respond to these events with greater resilience and effectiveness.”

The new investment follows a year of strong growth, with BreachRx achieving over 3x annual recurring revenue (ARR) growth for the second consecutive year. The company now serves more than 100 customers, including Fortune 500 firms and public companies across finance, tech, healthcare, and critical infrastructure. The fresh capital will support expansion of go-to-market and engineering teams, accelerating product development and market reach.

Andy Lunsford, BreachRx CEO and co-founder, noted the strategic value of the new board additions: “Kevin brings unmatched experience from both founding and leading companies through major breaches. His insight, along with Nicole’s deep reporting knowledge of global cyberattacks, will guide our next phase of innovation and scale.”

Nicole Perlroth added, “Organizations aren’t judged by how well they protect their systems—they’re judged by how they communicate during a breach. BreachRx stands out as the first platform built for the chaotic reality of modern cyber incidents. It empowers teams with dynamic playbooks, audit trails, and secure communication, allowing them to focus on real threats rather than internal disarray.”
