Avery Dennison ready to acquire Thermopatch

Avery Dennison has agreed to buy Thermopatch, a company that provides labeling, embellishments, and transfers to the sports, industrial laundry, workwear, and hospitality industries. Thermopatch will become part of the company’s Retail Branding and Information Solutions (RBIS) Apparel Solutions business after the transaction complete, which is expected in the first quarter of 2023.

The merger will allow the merged company to capitalize on its aggregate industry knowledge, utilizing the company’s know-how, quality, and service to drive expansion in external embellishments. Thermopatch, located in Syracuse, New York, USA, generated around $40 million in revenue in 2022, with approximately 200 employees and operations in North America and Europe.

Thermopatch, a company that provides labeling, embellishments, and transfers to the sports, industrial laundry, workwear, and hospitality industries, has agreed to be acquired by Avery Dennison. After the deal is completed, Thermopatch will be integrated into the company’s Retail Branding and Information Solutions (RBIS) Apparel Solutions business, which is expected in the first quarter of 2023.

With over 200 workers and activities across North America and Europe, Thermopatch, based in Syracuse, New York, USA, produced around $40 million in revenue in 2022.
