Atwell supplied financing to a private investment group that purchased Cross Surveying, LLC, a 28-person Florida land surveying firm. As part of the deal, Atwell will collaborate with Cross Surveying on future expansion plans and all Florida surveying operations. Cross Surveying specializes in surveying and mapping tasks that require a thorough approach. The transaction’s terms were not disclosed.
This acquisition will immediately increase the depth and breadth of Atwell’s surveying capabilities in the Southeast region, particularly in Florida and Georgia, within the Real Estate and Land Development and Power and Energy teams.
Cross Surveying was founded in 1989 by owner and creator Robert Cross, who established Bob Cross Professional Land Surveying. Cross purchased Global Surveying in 1995 and expanded into seven offices around Florida.
Cross Surveying employs experienced surveyors and mappers, as well as CAD technicians and office employees. Boundary surveys, construction stakeout, control surveys, design surveys, residential surveys, topographic surveys, and other services are available from the firm.
