On Tuesday, Applied Industrial Technologies announced the acquisition of Advanced Motion Systems Inc., a provider of automation products, services, and engineered solutions specializing in machine vision, robotics, and motion control products and technologies.
The transaction’s terms were not disclosed.

AMS is based in Rochester, New York, and employs more than ten people across two locations. Customers are primarily served by the company in the medical, technology, machine building, life sciences, electronics, automotive, and other various industrial verticals.
