Virtualitics Raises $37 Million in Series C Funding to Advance AI and Data Exploration

Virtualitics, an artificial intelligence and data exploration company, has successfully raised $37 million in a Series C financing round, led by Smith Point Capital, LLC, along with participation from Citi and advisory clients of The Hillman Company, among other investors. The investment will fuel the growth of Virtualitics’ groundbreaking technology, Intelligent Exploration, which empowers data scientists and business users to make strategic decisions more efficiently.

Virtualitics’ Intelligent Exploration platform leverages advanced AI capabilities to enable users to make queries in natural language, explore complex datasets, uncover crucial insights, and generate multi-dimensional network graph visualizations. The platform’s patented VR/AR features also facilitate real-time collaboration across multiple users and locations.

This funding comes at a time of rapid expansion for Virtualitics, marked by significant growth in both public sector and commercial segments. The company has welcomed seven new customers within the Department of Defense and witnessed increased customer acquisition in Financial Services and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) markets over the past year.

Recent milestones for Virtualitics include partnerships with industry leaders like Snowflake, strategic investment from Citi, recognition on Fast Company’s World’s Most Innovative Companies list, and the addition of patents for proprietary 3D network graph algorithms and native 3D data visualization.

With this new funding, Virtualitics aims to further invest in growth and innovation, expanding its AI platform’s machine learning and data analytics capabilities, as well as enhancing self-serve prescriptive workflows to facilitate complex data analysis and business transformation.
