Norwood-based company SourceCode is set to acquire Boston Limited, a UK-EU provider of high-performance server and storage solutions. The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed, but the deal is expected to be completed on June 30, 2023.

The acquisition will allow SourceCode to expand its global presence and offer a wider range of device-to-datacenter-to-cloud solutions to customers worldwide.

The company aims to focus on delivering customized computing solutions for emerging technologies such as generative artificial intelligence, intelligent edge compute, and high-performance computing. Boston Limited, with offices in multiple countries, provides consulting and training services in areas such as machine learning, AI, security, and storage.

The original founders of Boston Limited will continue to be part of the combined company. Additionally, SourceCode, a portfolio company of Cerberus Capital Management, has announced the appointment of Alain Andreolli and Peter Ungaro, industry experts, to its Board of Directors.
