Orbee Raises $4 Million in Series A Funding for Automotive Customer Experience Platform


Orbee, a technology service provider for the automotive industry, has secured $4 million in an oversubscribed Series A funding round. The round was led by FM Capital, an automotive and transportation venture firm. Financial advisory firm Presidio Group also invested in the round and served as the exclusive financial advisor to Orbee.

Orbee’s platform acts as a middleware solution that centralizes a dealership’s data sources, enabling automotive dealerships to manage and leverage their data effectively. The platform has various applications, including optimizing advertising, personalizing the shopping experience, enhancing insights and analytics with third-party data, and increasing customer loyalty within dealership groups.

The funds raised will support the growth and scaling of Orbee’s platform, allowing the company to enhance its technology offerings. The platform aims to help dealerships customize and improve the car-buying experience by leveraging customer data for the benefit of both customers and dealers.

Atul Patel, CEO and Co-Founder of Orbee, emphasized the importance of personalized customer experiences, particularly as market conditions and inventories normalize. He highlighted that Orbee’s middleware capabilities enable dealerships to better engage customers throughout their car purchasing and ownership journey.

Chase Fraser, Managing Partner at FM Capital, expressed confidence in the adoption of customer data platforms in the retail automotive industry and saw potential for exponential growth in this technology.

Keith Style, Managing Director at Presidio, noted that Orbee’s technology empowers dealerships to leverage data effectively, improving the experience for car buyers.

Damian Mills, CEO of Mills Automotive Group, highlighted the platform’s promise in elevating clients’ experiences as they buy vehicles and have them serviced at dealerships.

Presidio CEO Brodie Cobb praised Orbee’s innovations for giving dealers the tools to personalize the car-buying experience.
