Oleria, a security company that liberates businesses with adaptive and autonomous access solutions, has emerged from stealth mode and raised $8 million in seed funding. Salesforce Ventures led the round, with participation from Tapestry VC and angel investors including CEOs and CISOs of prominent tech and security firms.

Oleria, founded by industry luminary and former Salesforce Chief Trust Officer (CISO) Jim Alkove and identity solutions product executive and former JumpCloud Chief Product Officer Jagadeesh Kunda, envisions a world in which organizations no longer have to choose between security and innovation speed.

Oleria’s founders have decades of security and product development experience at companies such as Microsoft, Salesforce, AWS, Oracle, and Nest. They created and managed some of the world’s largest security solutions, which are used by hundreds of millions of people.

Their distinct vision includes disrupting the current security solutions space to enable CISOs to become business outcome liberators. Oleria enables leaders to achieve the biggest and best outcomes without being held back by the constraints of traditional security approaches, whether it’s CEOs and COOs approaching security as a path to innovation, CISOs and IT managers providing continuous access governance, CFOs aligning security goals to business needs, or employees striving for ambitious goals.

Oleria is the only adaptive and autonomous security solution that helps organizations accelerate at the pace of change while remaining confident that data is secure. Oleria, founded by cybersecurity industry veterans with decades of experience building some of the world’s largest security solutions, enables organizations to pursue their best ideas by removing the barriers that prevent team members from collaborating. Oleria liberates the business.
