Murphy USA stated today that its Board of Directors has approved a $25 million commitment to the Murphy USA Charitable Foundation, which will promote beneficial changes in local communities with a focus on El Dorado and Southern Arkansas. The Foundation supports the Company’s matching gifts, including the yearly United Way campaign, as well as all of the other charities that our workers choose to support through personal donations. Furthermore, this donation will enable the Foundation to continue sponsoring programs that support education and career development, infrastructure revitalization, and community health and well-being.

The Murphy USA Student Athlete Academic Success Center at Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, as well as the capital campaign for the South Arkansas Arts Center, are two recent examples of Foundation assistance. The Foundation also annually supports the Murphy USA El Dorado Shootout, which is part of the EPSON tour, the LPGA’s official qualifying tour. The Shootout raises revenue for the Foundation, which has recently prioritized women’s healthcare activities.
