Milan-based startup Contents.com has successfully raised $18 million in a Series B funding round led by existing investor Synergo Capital. Other participants in the funding round include Azimut Digitech Fund, Invictus Capital, and Thomson Reuters Ventures. The newly acquired capital will be directed towards global expansion initiatives and further development of the company’s offerings, including orchestration functionality.
Contents.com, founded by Massimiliano Squillace in November 2020, utilizes AI to provide multilingual content generation services. The company’s clientele includes notable names such as IKEA, Allianz, billboard, Netgear, and lastminute.com. Its AI-powered content creation services encompass various formats, ranging from text to audio, video, and animations.
Thomson Reuters Ventures’ managing director, Tamara Steffens, expressed excitement about collaborating with Contents.com, stating, “The Contents.com team has built an application that enables the practical use of generative AI for enterprise content creation. We are excited to work with them to bring the application’s rich capabilities to our teams and to our customers so that in turn, they can create high-quality multilingual content.”
