Capsa AI Raises £1.7M to Revolutionize Private Equity Due Diligence with AI Solutions

by

London-based startup Capsa AI, which aims to transform the private equity due diligence process, has raised £1.7 million in a Seed funding round just eight months after its founding. In this short time, Capsa AI has already become a revenue-generating business, managing over $30 billion across the US, UK, and Germany.

Capsa AI’s platform uses artificial intelligence to automate and streamline the traditionally manual due diligence tasks that often take up a significant portion of investors’ time. These tasks include creating company profiles, extracting and analyzing financial data, and reviewing contracts. By automating these processes, Capsa AI helps private equity funds become more efficient, reducing time spent on low-skill tasks by up to 25%.

The funding round was led by Outward VC, a UK fintech investor, with participation from Cornerstone VC and existing investor Antler. Prominent angel investors, including fintech leader Chris Adelsbach, also contributed. The capital will be used to hire product engineers, develop new AI-driven features for private equity investors, and penetrate key markets.

Co-founder Danyal Özdüzenciler expressed confidence in the product’s potential to reshape private equity workflows, saying, “We are already driving productivity in major PE firms, and we believe we can transform decision-making and collaboration across the private capital industry.”

Sanchit Dhote, Principal at Outward VC, added, “Capsa AI’s solution is fundamentally reshaping how private equity firms approach due diligence, addressing the rising volume and complexity of data in private markets.”

The new capital will accelerate Capsa AI’s mission to enhance productivity, collaboration, and decision-making in the private equity sector through its innovative AI solutions.
