Architect announced today the completion of a $5 million pre-product funding round to develop adaptive infrastructure technologies that would allow institutions to trade between controlled and decentralized digital asset markets. Circle Ventures, Coinbase Ventures, SV Angel, SALT Fund, P2P, Third Kind Venture Capital, and Motivate Venture Capital are among the investors in the round, as are Shari Glazer and Anthony Scaramucci.
Architect will provide secure, powerful, and customized trading infrastructure to institutions and large traders, while also interacting with qualified crypto custodians and self-hosted wallets. Standardized risk, compliance, market data, and development and visualization tools will be included in the core software offering. Architect will assist enterprises to negotiate the rising technological complexity of digital asset market structure through cross-venue aggregation, platform flexibility, and open source design.
Brett Harrison, a financial scientist and former executive of FTX US, Citadel Securities, and Jane Street, developed Architect. The cash will be utilized to assemble a qualified team and begin product development, with an initial launch scheduled for the second quarter of 2023.
Architect is a software business that creates institutional-grade trading infrastructure for global digital asset exchanges.
