Ryse Energy, a global leader in decentralized renewable energy systems with over 4,000 units sold or installed for clients worldwide, has announced a $15 million growth funding round.
RWE Energy Transition Investments, an investment vehicle of RWE Supply & Trading GmbH, the energy trading arm of the global renewable energy company RWE, led the round. The investment will allow Ryse Energy to expand its technology offerings, accelerate its international growth, and diversify its business model into energy-as-a-service.

The company has manufacturing facilities in the United Kingdom and Spain, as well as sales offices in the United States, Europe, the United Arab Emirates, and India.
Renewable systems from Ryse Energy can be used as standalone technologies, grid-connected or off-grid with energy storage, or hybridized to create bespoke and dependable hybrid renewable solutions. The company works in a variety of industries, including telecoms and oil and gas networks, marine and agriculture applications, and community power for rural electrification.
Ryse Energy will be able to enter previously untapped markets such as North America, where community power and diesel replacement are key focus areas, and Africa, where energy access and powering critical infrastructure such as healthcare and telecoms are strategic priorities. In addition, to meet current and future demand, the company will hire globally.
Ryse Energy will also invest in current technologies to become certified for specific target markets, and the funding will allow Ryse Energy to expand its manufacturing capacity in strategic locations, with the company currently reviewing additional manufacturing locations in the United States, the United Arab Emirates, and India.
