MGM Resorts is reportedly nearing an agreement to acquire Push Gaming through its LeoVegas brand.

According to rumours, the US gaming company would pay roughly €150 million for the Malta-based games studio Push Gaming. While neither business has made an official announcement, the acquisition is expected to be disclosed this week.

MGM purchased LeoVegas in an unexpected move last year, paying €575 million for the Swedish online gambling company.

Push Gaming has apparently been considering selling the company for some time, with Scientific Games one of several companies expressing interest in acquiring the studio.

Push Gaming is based in Malta and has offices in London. It is licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority and the UK Gambling Commission.

Push Gaming was acquired in the same year that LeoVegas’ investment arm purchased gaming company Blue Guru gaming.
