Mews, a leader in hospitality technology and cloud-based property management systems (PMS) based in Prague, Czech Republic, has acquired Hotello, a cloud property management system (PMS) for hotel properties situated in Montreal, Canada.
The value of the transaction was not disclosed. The acquisition, led by Mews Ventures*, the company’s venture and investment arm, boosts Mews’ expansion plan in North America, particularly in the Canadian market.
Mews, founded by Richard Valtr, offers the Mews Hospitality Cloud, which is designed to streamline operations for modern hoteliers, change the guest experience, and generate more profit. Accor, Generator-Freehand, Nordic Choice Hotels, The Social Hub, Life House, and Les Airelles are among the clients.
The company has offices in Europe, America, and Australia. Mews powers over 3,500 homes across 80 countries.Hotello, created in 2001 and directed by Anas Berzi, CEO, delivers a PMS based on communication between systems, people, and environments to improve user and customer experiences.
In Canada and the United States, the company has over 500 customers.
