Massman Companies, a global packaging machinery leader, has announced the acquisition of Ultra Packaging Inc., a privately held company based in Chicago, IL.
Ultra Packaging, Inc. (UPI) is a leading manufacturer of high-quality vertical and horizontal automated cartoning machines for the food, personal care, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic industries. These machines are high-speed continuous motion machines that come in a variety of configurations, ranging from manual to fully robotic loading.
UPI is Massman’s most recent automated packaging acquisition. With the addition of UPI’s cartoning products to Massman’s extensive portfolio, full-line solutions from carton or bottle to pallet are now possible. Customers can buy linked packaging equipment from Massman, which simplifies design, equipment layout, purchase, service, and equipment warranty.
