EG America Raises $750,000 for Disabled American Veterans

EG America, a convenience store retailer, has raised $750,000 for Disabled American Veterans (DAV) through its fifth annual fundraiser for the nonprofit organization. The funds were collected during the month of November, with customers at EG America’s Certified Oil, Cumberland Farms, Fastrac, Kwik Shop, Loaf N’ Jug, Minit Mart, Quik Stop, Sprint Food Stores, Tom Thumb, and Turkey Hill stores encouraged to donate $1, $5, or an amount of their choosing to DAV.

Disabled American Veterans provides support to veterans and their families, offering benefits assistance, transportation to medical appointments, and other programs at no cost. EG America’s leadership team presented a check of $750,000 to DAV Executive Director and CFO Cody Vanboxel at the company’s headquarters on January 23, 2024.

EG America President John Carey expressed gratitude for the generosity of guests and the collective efforts of team members, stating that EG America has raised over $3 million for DAV since the beginning of their partnership. EG America, with more than 1,600 retail locations and over 18,000 team members across the U.S., is committed to providing a superior guest experience and supporting the communities in which it operates.
