ECI Software Solutions, a global provider of cloud-based business management software, has successfully completed the acquisition of Treetop Group, a Dutch software company specializing in business solutions for the residential construction and craft industry. This move marks ECI’s first foray into the residential construction sector outside of North America, strengthening its European footprint and enhancing its residential construction software portfolio.
Treetop Group, with its decades of experience and a loyal customer base in the Netherlands, offers a range of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and business applications tailored for small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in the residential construction and crafts sector. The acquisition aligns with ECI’s commitment to providing innovative solutions and expands its expertise in the European construction industry.
Trevor Gruenewald, CEO of ECI Software Solutions, emphasized the strategic fit between ECI and Treetop, combining ECI’s leadership in residential construction software with Treetop’s technology and customer base. The acquisition is expected to enhance ECI’s position in the market and foster further growth.
Maarten van der Vlist, Partner at Nedvest, Treetop’s majority stakeholder, expressed pride in Treetop’s achievements and viewed ECI as the ideal partner to support Treetop in solidifying its position as a market leader in the construction software ecosystem.
As part of its future plans, Treetop intends to launch a cloud-native ERP software solution, Treetop Online, in 2024. This new product aims to manage construction business processes in real-time, catering to smaller construction and craft companies.
