Toronto-based Workorb, an innovative startup dedicated to transforming data utilization for Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industries, has successfully closed its seed funding round, led by Metavallon VC and Freedom of Innovation Ventures. Founded by Nick Koudas, Workorb’s platform enables AEC firms to unlock valuable data assets from historical project files, including RFPs, proposals, designs, and 3D Building Information Models (BIM).
Workorb’s AI-powered solution cleans, organizes, and curates project data automatically, making it instantly AI-ready. Initially focusing on business development, Workorb streamlines AEC workflows, from RFP qualification and response drafting to contract review. This automation boosts efficiency, improves proposal success rates, and enables firms to pursue a larger volume of opportunities.
With this funding, Workorb aims to expand its sales and product development initiatives. Koudas noted, “Having Metavallon VC and Freedom of Innovation Ventures as partners affirms our mission to empower AEC firms by optimizing their data and driving growth.”
