Safary, the Web3 alternative to Google Analytics, has successfully closed its pre-seed funding round, securing $2.4 million. The round was led by Lemniscap, with participation from Arca, SevenX, Big Brain Holdings, Saison Capital, Diaspora Ventures, and 20 Web3 angel investors – 14 of whom are members of the Safary community.

The funding will be utilized to strengthen Safary’s team and accelerate the development of its marketing attribution platform. Safary’s platform empowers Web3 teams to analyze marketing Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), channel Return on Investment (ROI), and customer Lifetime Value (LTV). By adding just one line of code to their websites, projects can access Safary’s free and user-friendly solution, enabling them to unlock powerful Web3 analytics.

Safary’s platform is designed to address the changing landscape of user tracking, especially in light of Google’s plan to phase out third-party cookies by 2024. With a focus on user privacy, Safary allows marketers to collect only the data needed for informed decision-making, ensuring compliance with evolving privacy standards.

As the only cookie-free Web3 tracking platform, Safary centralizes growth data, offering critical insights into the results of Web3 marketing campaigns without compromising user privacy. The platform tracks wallets, displays Web3 conversions, and links to on-chain actions through an intuitive no-code dashboard.

Safary, originally launched as the first Web3 growth community, has evolved into a powerful growth platform. The community includes heads of growth from Ledger, dYdX, and over 200 Web3 companies. The company has spoken directly with over 400 Web3 growth leaders, providing an in-depth understanding of the most pressing growth challenges in the industry.

Justin Vogel, Co-founder of Safary, emphasized the company’s goal to empower growth leaders with the network, knowledge, and technology needed to drive the next generation of successful Web3 companies. The funding round, supported by leading Web3 investors, positions Safary to contribute to the growth ecosystem and create a more ethical and secure data future.

Roderik van der Graaf, Founder of Lemniscap, highlighted Safary’s role in addressing the evolving landscape of digital marketing and data privacy. Safary’s platform offers marketers a way to gather actionable insights without compromising user privacy, making it a valuable addition to the Web3 ecosystem.

Safary’s unique blend of growth and privacy experts, including a founding engineer with a Ph.D. in data privacy and a technical advisor specializing in decentralized identity and privacy, positions the company to uphold the highest standards of privacy in the Web3 space. The platform aims to provide valuable insights while contributing to a more ethical and secure data future for the industry.
