Vivante Health, a leader in digital digestive health, has announced the successful closure of a $31 million Series B funding round led by new investor Mercato Partners. This funding will be used to advance the development of its GIThrive platform, which focuses on improving patient outcomes and reducing medical costs related to digestive health.

The GIThrive platform offers a range of services, including food and symptom logging, access to dietitians, health coaches, and nurses, and a network of internists and gastroenterologists for diagnosis and treatment.

It also provides AI-driven personalized care plans that dynamically adjust to users’ symptoms and other variables. This comprehensive approach aims to bridge the gap between virtual and real-world care for digestive disorders.

Vivante Health has demonstrated its ability to reduce healthcare costs and improve the quality of life for individuals suffering from digestive disorders. More than 90% of GIThrive users report relief from digestive symptoms and improved quality of life.

Employers adopting GIThrive have seen significant decreases in digestive-related healthcare spending, driven by increased medication adherence and behavior modification that reduce emergency room visits and inpatient admissions.

The latest investment brings Vivante Health’s total funding to $47 million, following a $16 million Series A round in late 2021. The company plans to use the new funding to enhance its technology and expand its commercial and client support teams to further support individuals and employers in managing digestive health effectively.
