UFS, a Grafton, WI-based provider of technology solutions for community banks, has acquired Safe Systems, a specialist in IT and security services for financial institutions. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

This acquisition will enable the Safe Systems community to access UFS’s comprehensive portfolio of purpose-built technology solutions. In turn, UFS customers will benefit from Safe Systems’ expertise in IT, compliance, and security services.

Founded in 1993, Safe Systems has focused exclusively on providing IT, compliance, and security services to community banks and credit unions, helping to reduce IT costs, enhance performance, and strengthen compliance.

UFS, established in 1991, offers a wide range of bank-exclusive technology services, including core banking applications, cybersecurity, managed IT services, private cloud solutions, and more.

The combined entity will now serve nearly 400 financial institutions, reinforcing their commitment to empowering community banks with tailored solutions, allowing bankers to focus on their core business.
