The acquisition of 42 North Solutions (42 North) by Sequoia Consulting Group (Sequoia), a renowned provider of technical and full life-cycle services to biotechnology and pharmaceutical clients, has been announced. 42 North, which was founded by Robert DeCoste and Daniel Ramsey and is headquartered in Scituate, MA, provides services such as capital project execution and management, technical operations, and facilities management to pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients. The acquisition enhances Sequoia’s offerings by adding facilities management capabilities, expanding its geographic presence to the East Coast, and providing additional depth to its process, automation, and project engineering services.

Sequoia CEO Brandy Bullen expressed excitement about the acquisition, stating that 42 North’s deep expertise in technical operations and facilities management, along with its strong presence on the East Coast and impressive list of clients, make it an excellent fit for Sequoia. The co-founders of 42 North, Daniel Ramsey and Robert DeCoste, also expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, noting that the combined company will be able to provide more value to clients by offering a broader suite of services.

The financial details of the acquisition, which was completed in February 2023, have not been disclosed.
