Reonic Raises €13M Series A to Expand Cleantech SaaS Platform

by

Reonic, a climate tech SaaS company, has raised €13 million in a Series A funding round led by Northzone, with participation from Point Nine and Puzzle Ventures. The startup, founded in 2021 in Augsburg, Bavaria, aims to accelerate the deployment of renewable energy solutions across Europe by digitizing workflows for small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) installers.

Reonic’s software platform functions as an operating system designed to streamline operations for renewable installers. The solution supports over 200,000 installers across Europe, addressing the increasing complexity of the renewable energy market by offering tools for procurement, financing, payment, and more. With this new funding, the company plans to expand its operations into neighboring European markets, starting with France, and grow its team beyond the current 21 members.

Co-founder Lars-Manuel Schneider highlighted the market’s growth potential: “Renewable technologies are growing rapidly across Europe, yet most independent installers lack the necessary digital tools to keep pace. Our platform enables them to scale and compete effectively.”

Reonic has seen significant growth, tripling its recurring revenue in the past six months. With this funding, it plans to strengthen its foothold and further empower installers in the energy transition movement.
