Pearpop, the pioneer in creator marketing and cooperation, raised $18 million in Series A funding from Sound Ventures, Ashton Kutcher and Guy Oseary’s Seven Seven Six, Blockchange Ventures, Avalanche’s Blizzard Fund, and C2 Ventures. Pearpop has raised over $34 million in funding since its inception in October 2020, placing the company’s current valuation at $300 million.

Since its debut last year, Pearpop Challenges, the first self-service creative marketing tool, has achieved rapid adoption. Pearpop is trusted by brands such as Amazon, Netflix, Chipotle, Rakuten, Zappos, Universal Pictures, Sonos, and Beyond Meat, as well as artists such as Doja Cat, The Weeknd, Madonna, Shawn Mendez, and Post Malone, as an authentic, performance-based, and streamlined way for brands to collaborate with creators at scale.

“Influencer marketing is the fastest growing segment in marketing – and yet there’s still a lack of price transparency and accountability across the entire space,” said Cole Mason, founder, and CEO, Pearpop. “We’re laser-focused on building a new standard in creator marketing at Pearpop by bringing a new level of accountability to the industry so that brands can quantify results and creators have transparency and consistency around earnings.”

With over 200,000 creators now using Pearpop, the company has also opened up revenue options for a broader range of producers. Notably, 71% of earnings have gone to creators with fewer than one million followers. Pearpop will have paid out more than $10 million to creators by the end of the year.

Pearpop also introduces two new product lines: Ovation and Passport. By allowing marketers to mobilize particular, targeted audiences who have previously engaged with a product, Ovation quickly transforms customers or certain community segments into powerful brand supporters. These new services expand on Pearpop’s Challenges product’s fundamental success while pushing the goal even farther. Passport, on the other hand, employs blockchain technology to provide artists with unprecedented access into audience interaction across different platforms and sources, allowing brands to assess creator impact.

Bessemer Venture Partners, Mark Cuban, Gary Vaynerchuk, The Chainsmokers, Mr. Beast (Night Media Ventures), Diddy, Snoop Dogg, Kevin Durant (Thirty 5 Ventures), Kevin Hart (HartBeat Ventures), Griffin Johnson, Marshmello, Jake Paul (Anti Fund), Red Light Management, Josh Richards, Amy Schumer, and Slow are among the investors in Pearpop.
