Orbite, a leading space training and operations company, has successfully closed its $4 million Series A funding round, attracting both new and returning investors. This investment will help accelerate Orbite’s growth, expand its sales and marketing efforts, and advance preparations for its flagship Spaceflight Gateway Campus. In addition, Orbite has announced a strategic partnership with Accor, a global leader in hospitality, to collaborate on the development and operation of the Spaceflight Gateway campus as part of its plans for international expansion.

Orbite also introduced its exclusive Experience Train Fly Program, a comprehensive suite of luxury offerings designed to provide immersive journeys into space exploration. The program includes tailored astronaut training for all levels of readiness and custom flight missions for space enthusiasts and adventurers.

Nicolas Gaume, Orbite’s executive chairman, emphasized the significance of the training journey: “You don’t become an astronaut in a day. Astronaut training is a process that requires time. With the continued support of our visionary shareholders and Accor’s unmatched expertise in hospitality, we are creating a seamless experience that combines professional space preparation with luxury service, offering guests a truly holistic journey into space.”

Orbite’s immersive astronaut training programs offer a rigorous and educational experience, similar to the years of training NASA and other space agencies require for astronaut candidates. These programs combine education, training, and wellness, providing guests with a unique space hospitality experience that redefines luxury both on Earth and in space.

Agnès Roquefort, Head of Development for Accor Luxury & Lifestyle, spoke about the partnership: “Accor has always been at the forefront of transformative hospitality. Viewing Earth from Low Earth Orbit reminds us of our shared responsibility to the planet. We’re excited to partner with Orbite to redefine space hospitality and offer our guests the opportunity to explore space while deepening their connection to the well-being of Earth.”

Jason Andrews, CEO of Orbite, highlighted the growing demand for space experiences: “Our global customers are eager to take part in the expanding space economy. Our Experience Train Fly Program, coupled with our partnership with Accor, provides a unique opportunity for individuals to experience space in a luxurious setting today.”

With this new round of funding and strategic partnership, Orbite is well-positioned to lead the way in the luxury space tourism industry, offering groundbreaking experiences for space explorers.
