Mave Raised M in Funding to Launch AI Assistant for Real Estate Agents

Mave, the AI-powered assistant tailored for real estate agents, has raised CAD$2 million in pre-seed funding led by Relay Ventures and N49P, with additional backing from Alate Partners, Clarim Ventures, Gambit Partners, and angel investors, including a former Toronto Real Estate Board president. The funding supports the launch of Mave’s beta program, with over 6,000 agents across 90 brokerages in the Greater Toronto Area expressing interest.

Founded by Raz Zohar, Mave aims to address the heavy administrative burden on real estate agents, which can exceed 35 hours per transaction. By using AI to streamline backend tasks like research, email drafting, and social media content creation, Mave lets agents focus on client interactions. “With Mave, agents can now instantly respond to questions like ‘What is the price per square foot in this postal code?'” said Zohar.

Mave has partnered with real estate boards to access comprehensive market data, enabling agents to deliver instant insights to clients. The platform has already proven effective, with PSR Brokerage reporting 60% of its agents using Mave regularly within the first week of the beta program, enhancing client responsiveness and productivity.

“Mave is the first solution that seamlessly integrates with an agent’s workflow using simple text commands,” said Alex Baker, Managing Partner at Relay Ventures. The platform is poised to become a transformative tool, helping brokerages streamline operations and empowering agents to grow their business more efficiently.
