Husqvarna Group to Acquire InCeres

Husqvarna Group, a Stockholm, Sweden-based leader in innovative solutions for managing forests, parks, and gardens, has signed an agreement to acquire InCeres, a Brazilian digital platform specializing in the professional light agriculture segment. The financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

This acquisition enables Husqvarna Group to expand its offerings within the agricultural sector, particularly focusing on enhancing digital solutions for soil management and plant nutrition.

Founded by CEO Leonardo Menegatti, InCeres provides advanced solutions supported by leading research institutions, including FAPESP, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and ESALQ/USP. Recognized as a deep tech company, InCeres focuses on using basic science to develop business solutions that help farmers, consultants, cooperatives, and resellers manage soil variables throughout the farming process. This enables better decision-making in soil fertility, plant nutrition, and input purchasing, ultimately improving productivity and reducing costs. The platform is currently utilized across more than 5 million hectares in Brazil, Colombia, Paraguay, and Bolivia.

Founded in 1689, Husqvarna Group has a long history of innovation in products for forest, park, and garden management. The company’s product range includes robotic lawnmowers, chainsaws, trimmers, riding lawnmowers, and watering solutions, along with specialized equipment for the light construction and natural stone industries.
