HCLSoftware, the software division of HCLTech based in Santa Clara, CA, has announced plans to acquire Zeenea, a Paris-based leader in data catalog and governance solutions. The financial terms of the deal, which is expected to finalize in September 2024, have not been disclosed.
This acquisition will bolster HCLSoftware’s Data & Analytics business, specifically its Actian portfolio, by integrating Zeenea’s advanced data discovery and governance technology.
Zeenea, led by CEO Luc Legardeur, offers an intelligent data discovery platform designed to support various metadata management applications, including data cataloging, lineage, governance, compliance, and enterprise data marketplaces. The platform’s adaptive knowledge graph empowers organizations to democratize data access and gain a comprehensive 360-degree view of their data assets and their interrelationships.
HCLSoftware serves over 7,000 organizations across 130 countries, focusing on business and industry applications such as commerce, MarTech, aftermarket ERP, total experience platforms, intelligent operations software, security and compliance, as well as data and analytics products and platforms.
