Hatz AI, co-founded by Jimmy Hatzell and serial entrepreneur Aidan Kehoe, has officially launched and disclosed a successful $2.5 million seed funding round led by Vestigo Ventures. The company is poised to revolutionize the Managed Service Provider (MSP) landscape by offering a comprehensive suite of tools for MSPs to establish and operate AI-as-a-Service businesses.
The funding round attracted prominent investors, including Alex Weiss from ClearSky, Matt Higgins from Shark Tank and RSE Ventures, Jim Brown from Long Ridge, Jon McNeill (founder of DVx Ventures and former president of Tesla), Iqram Magdon-Ismail (musician and Co-founder of Venmo), and Aidan Kehoe, Nadia Partners.
Hatz AI’s platform encompasses AI applications, AI agents, vector storage, and custom Large Language Models (LLMs) powered by an LLM Ops engine. These elements are efficiently managed through a multi-tenant platform, offering MSPs the capability to deliver AI services seamlessly.
Scheduled for general availability in March, Hatz AI’s products aim to empower MSPs globally in establishing and expanding their AI-as-a-Service businesses. The company envisions MSPs taking a pivotal role in the global transition to AI, managing and owning their own LLMs and offering corresponding services to their clients.
Jimmy Hatzell, CEO of Hatz AI, emphasized the company’s mission, stating, “We are building a system of record for MSPs to manage that transition and a system of engagement to operationalize the technology.”
Notably, the platform has already garnered attention from industry players. Tim Guim, CEO of PCH Technologies and Hatz AI MSP Launch Partner, commended the platform, stating, “The platform allows PCH Technologies to provide AI-as-a-Service in an easy-to-use format that is secure and customizable, creating a competitive advantage for our clients by accelerating the adoption of AI in each individual business.”
Vestigo Ventures, leading the seed funding round, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration. Frazer Anderson, Principal at Vestigo Ventures, highlighted the entrepreneurial and customer-centric nature of MSPs, emphasizing their essential role in adopting innovative technologies in the information economy.
Hatz AI plans to unveil its first generally available products in March 2024, including an AI Application Builder and Organizationally Managed AI Assistants. Subsequent releases later in the year will feature AI Phone Customer Service Agents, along with the ability to train and manage vector databases and custom LLMs within the multi-tenant platform.
